hello SE chapter! i used to live in Va, but last december moved to Mi where i will reside until i am done with school. but, my heart lies on the right coast. im coming down beween the 10th and 20th and plan to take a numberof days to camp down south. on surf trips we had out usual spots that we bummed in the car over night. but chances are that we are going to get a site or two down in frisco at billy mitchelle. does anyone know where i can look up info on current beach closures and access limiations? i know it gets worse and worse every year... usually im up to date but have not been down at all this year (obviously) to talk to the locals.

if you skate tranny (planning on skating in currituck, manteo, buxton, and VB), drive a jeep, or just like chillin on the beach... dont be afraid to stop and say hi if you see this XJ:

chances are ill hit it with some surf brand stickers, but you cant mistake the Mi plate! i know this may be wishful thinking, and downright upsetting for some home owners... but i wish for a system to roll through. i need some surf. i havent been in the salt water since december so ill get that fix at least.

i was just in frisco last week ramp 49 at the airport has about 2 miles open and then further in hatteras theres a couple miles open its not too bad this year last year they closed off a lot more my gf also lives down there in frisco so i can make sure nothing has changed if you want

typically its just that 2 mile stretch that is open down there at frisco.

the lighthouse road will let you go all the way out to the point right? (how has the drum fishing been this year?)

the point is closed and i havent heard too much about drum i asked my gf cause her dad is a fisherman and she didnt kno lol
