Ok well I tried to set my new 4:56 gears up but they are shot after only 3,000 miles. I'm not sure if I just screwed up or it was because I used Genuine gears. The front seems to be ok but the back whines really bad now and has .016 of backlash now. (Had .008 when I set it up) I talked to ORI in Broomfield and they recommended Yukon’s. They also said that if brought them the axle with no shafts they would put new gears in for $150 plus parts. How does this sound? Has anyone had them do work before? I would do it again myself with the Yukon’s but would like someone who has done gears before to spot me while I did it. Any takers?
