Jeep lives in Death Valley, but the two cars that need batteries live in upstate NY. I seriously doubt Jim would want to ship those puppies to me. I get a lot of stuff out and home via the airlines, but they just might draw the line at a pair of batteries.

Unless, of course, you were asking Jim where he is located, in which case, never mind.

I believe its because they are sealed gel cells. And do not have fluid to leak.

Yep. Dry cell can be shipped. Wet batteries cannot.
