Yea, i was intending to slow down before i got near the camp, but once i got into the whoops, it would have been worse to do so. It was bad judgement, the ranger was right. ticket well deserved. :doh:
i was farther than 50 feet from any camp though lol
 
I wonder how often people just floor it knowing their rigs are much more built.

Had a similar incident but the witnesses weren't able to get a picture but I am reminded every time I see them.
 
What was the ticket actually for? Speeding? Where were you and what did they say the limit was?

it might have been still considered camp rock rd, but it was basically just a stretch of whoops going into camp from the lake bed. the ticket was for going over 15 within 50 yards of a camp or something like that. it was only a $50 ticket. i dont think i was as close as he claimed, but i should have slowed down sooner. im not going to fight it or anything.
 
Thanks and good to know about that rule....no need to draw any attention of the rangers when out there.
