sorry, shoulda been more specific. What websites do you buy your jeep stuff from.

Like Mike said...Quadratec for most stuff...Gears, etc...Randy's ring&pinion...Driveshafts....Tom Woods....engine performance...Hesco.
JC Whitney has a lot of stuff...Rosser Think Jeep...mainly caters to short Jeeps...but they are good folks. You can feel safe (in my experience) ordering from any of the above and I don't pass out praise lightly.

I'm sure there are many more fine shops out there that I haven't dealt with yet...if anybody has some names, I would like to know also.

yup... it all depends what you're buying and what's available locally.... with certain parts (i.e. shocks... tires...) I prefer to go someplace local in case I end up with something that I will need to swap out....
I know quite a few people who buy parts from places like Ebay... then there is always the NAXJA for sale section and wanted :D. RE stuff, it's always recommended to go through a dealer vs RE direct... I use www.fullsizexjgear.com for that (he's an XJ'er.. and he's a NAXJA member and offers great service). I have also ordered stuff from Tomken directly (small spare parts stuff) and I have also used Dirk at DPGoffroad.com (good service as well). To mention others: randy's ring and pinion, Drive Train direct (www.dtd.com)... I know there are others, but they escape me at the moment...

Quadratech. If you ask for a catalog, ask for the Cherokee one, since they have a bad habit of tossing in the 'other' jeep one with orders. But I've spent about $1800 there this year and never had a problem with them. Shipping isn't the speed of light, but I've seen a LOT worse. Remember to mention our (naxja's) affliliation with UFWDA (avalable to members of Naxja)...about 5 percent discount.

I have several that I have used with good results. Four Wheel Drive Hardware They are a good company and I have had good results here. Decent prices too!Got My KC's here! They ran a special and they do repeat it. 150 W Daylighter's for $100!Somewhat Local! THey are a Omnix dealer so they will have older Jeep parts too! HTH Honky!

In case anyone looks at this post I wanted to promo the place where I now get a lot of my stuff- www.xtremeterrain.com. They have a huge line of products and if its not listed on their web site, call them. The cnahnces are that they still carry it. They have very good prices and the best thing is their tech support. They will spend the time with you and answer all of your questions.

If you want parts for your XJ this is a place to consider.
