One Car Too Far

I don't think so and this is why. Not once during the show do they ever say the word "jeep". I bet they had a hard time negotiating a deal with Jeep and it wasn't till long after it was produced did Jeep step into the picture.

Next season every other word will be jeep, wrangler, trail edition or some other chrysler phrase and they will be in a 2015 proto type.

I read another review of this show and Bill Wu chimed in on this subject... it was because they had not sold this show to Jeep yet, so for this entire season (besides the description of what the vehicle is in the beginning) they call their Jeep a "car" during the show.

For the record... I am betting they had to do a lot of editing for these shows. That Wu character is a real idiot. I wonder how many times the survivalist dude took a whiz on the "I  Wu" hat...

As a lady in my local Jeep club put it: "They should have named the show two tards too far."

Don't count on that. How many years was John and Kate plus 8 on?
Or "Toddlers & Tiaras"

It's a reality show, they're cheap to make, although this one will probably a little more expensive then most. It'll be around at least a couple seasons.

Only saw a few minutes of one episode,.. they made a log bridge, and it looked like they drove off and left all the strapping. I guess the camera crew cleans up after them.

When you are in survival mode you don't have time to worry about leaving trash.

I have watched both episodes as background noise and when I first saw that axle rolling out, it was pretty obvious what was wrong (although admittedly I was thinking broken c-clip) and just started laughing when that Wu guy said he had no idea what was wrong. It was also quite funny watching him trying to put the the drum back on with the emergency brake on.

I wasn't talking about trash. When you're in survival mode, you don't leave important gear behind. They took a bunch of ratchet tie down straps and tied the logs together, then drove off and left the straps on the logs. If they needed to pull that stunt again, they'd need more straps, or they might need the straps for something else.

Personally, if I had a jeep with a winch and a snorkel, faced with a slow moving, steep sided water crossing, I would have just driven through it and winched myself out the other side if I couldn't climb out. Lot less time wasted,.. lot less time screwing around in the water,.. no danger of slipping off the temp bridge,..
Looked like the water was less then waist deep while he was running around in it with those logs.

Good decision making = bad TV.

Wrote discovery and told them Wu is a clown. Volunteered to finish out the season for him. Got this response from Discovery:

That WU guy is a idiot!!! They make the whole 4x4 community look like idiots also.

This, Just because he has a couple Hummers with Duramaxes doesn't make him an offroad expert. Gumball rallies are far from offroad racing.
