You need to right click in the picture and select properties, then copy the complete link and post it. The first time you linked the page, the second time you did not get the complete link.

Look at the soldier with the helmet. Very definately the American "coal shovel" style helmet. Not quite as pronounced as the Germans of WWII but the same idea.

And I still think that it's a British soldier. His elbow is in a British turtle-shell helmet, and the camouflage pattern on his shirt looks British (tan/green). I think that the color of the American uniforms is tan/brown.
