Okay before I Buy My Gear

I know I paid a considerable amount below the MAP for my 5.5" kit with drop brackets. Your wanting to do 33's, you should really be going 5.5". The drop brackets give insane amount of articulation and the ride is better than the 4.5" kit. You get all the upgraded parts in the kit and you get the drop brackets. Quite a few of us running that kit, well worth the extra $$.

Oh great, so what part number is that kit, and what All do I need.
I really dont want to have to do the SYE , and all the axcels and stuff.

You're most likely going to have to do SYE with the RE 4.5, it sits higher than the normal 4.5. If you've got a D35 you won't have one for long, especially if you go 33's... Just food for thought. Things get expensive QUICK with just a couple more inches.

Like Jim said, your probably going to have to do the SYE anyways. and the 5.5" comes with everyting you need you dont have to buy any upgrades for it like your going to do with the 4.5"

Heres the link:

RE6200

Can't do it, I only have a bit over 1K for the lift and 1 K for the wheels and tires.

Black Steelies = $150 at most on craigslist (I think like $250 if you buy them new from 4WP)

Tires = $500 at most on Craigslist.

Look i just saved you $350 you can use on your lift. Your Welcome :D

You are running the RE 3.5" lift and 32" tires? Can I see pictures?
I'm guessing I should still get the HD track bar and adjustable upper and lower control arms as well?

im running the re3.5 super ride with 31" tires...im sure with trimming and bumpstops you would NO problem running 32s...im sure someone on here does it. and my lift sits quite a bit higher then 3.5...lol

still want pics?

If you're willing to go used... you can get wheels and tires for considerably less.

Last summer I bought 32in pro-comp mud terrains on 16 inch black steelies for $275 and they had only about 5,000 miles on them (craigslist)

Sold them a couple months ago for $200 and picked up 5 35 inch MT/Rs with about 70% thread and 4 15 inch alloys for about $425. (race-dezert.com) Could have probably got them for less, but I was impatient.

Not even used, i got 4 brand new 35" X-Terrains for $400, still had the stickers on them. You can find great deals just got to learn to search Craigslist.

I think i really want new rims and tires, I'm just the kind of guy that likes new things. Call me crazy.

I bought 5 33x10.50x15 BFG A/T KO's, one brand new, 4 had like, 500 miles on them, for $500 from TCM GLX. Honestly, I don't think I have one new part on the Jeep besides drop brackets and SYE...

Let's run down the cost/parts of my lift:

3.5" FullTraction coils FREE from Leep
RC Drop Brackets $200 new
FullTraction LCA's FREE from Leep
ACOS Pro's $600 from TCM GLX
4.5" Alcan/Deaver leafs $150 from djblade
JKS Boomerang Shackles $50 from Brendan
Fox 2.0 8 way adjustables $700 from TCM GLX
Centerline Telstar wheels $80 from user on DezertRangers.com
5 33" BFG A/T KO's $500 from TCM GLX
Advanced Adapters SYE $220 new

That puts me right around $2500 for my lift... Take out the cost of ACOS Pro's and and replace that with $200 worth of springs, and the $700 shocks with $200 worth of shocks, and you're well within your budget. Keep an eye on the karma thread and the for sale section...

The general rule of thumb on lift height and need for an SYE goes as follows:
1984-1995 = SYE needed at 4.5" ACTUAL LIFT HEIGHT - ok at 3" lift
1996-2001 = SYE most deffinately needed at 4.5" lift, and most need one at anything over the 2" Budget boost.

Good thing it's a rule of thumb and not a must have. I have over 5" of lift and no SYE.

Well........I got so much info on the lift, Now I don't know what I should do..Uggggg:wierd::wierd:
