Administrative business discussed:
• The bank account status for the Chapter is still in limbo awaiting the F.E.I.N. number from
President Woody to establish the account. All Chapter Board members still intend to contribute to the account to make the starting balance.
Chapter business discussed:
• Vice President Led Lancos advised the group about tentative plans to hold a
sponsored event at Avalanche Ranch during Memorial Day weekend. He will be coordinating the reservation and fees with Avalanche Ranch and will provide specific information soon. This event will be scheduled regardless of
sponsorship, but the intent is to have this event be our Annual sponsored event.
• Vice President Led Lancos advised the group of another Chapter event for the hard-core ‘wheelers. On May 2nd, he will be organizing a group run of Independence Pass.
• President Tom Houston solicited the group’s input for locations to hold a Chapter event that would be open to all attendees. The group offered up the following locations to be considered:
-Red Cone, Chinaman’s Gulch, Grizzly Pass, and Wheeler Lake.
The group offered the following two dates for consideration:
-May 22-23 and June 5-6
Tom motioned that these locations and dates be posted in a thread on the Chapter Forum so that everyone could submit a vote for their choice. The popular location and date would be chosen for this event. Troy seconded the motion.
• The group was given the opportunity to bring forward additional business, but nothing was offered.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:55 p.m.
