OK guys help me out here please

Did the lift on he XJ this weekend. It had a Death Wobble , got am alignment yesterday , ran right up to 65 after , it was fine , with a very small wiggle at 50 - 53. GF drove it home approx 70 miles everything was fine. she drove to work this AM Death Wobble at 45+. WTF? what could change sitting overnight?

Anythoughts? Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check all the bolts, control arms, tracbar and mounts, lugnuts, every single one, when you first tighten them they may seem tight enough but things shift when you start driving and then they are loose again, so check them all. If this does not take care of it, try swapping the tires from front to rear and see what happens. Otherwise have the alignment checked again

also get your wheels/tires balanced. DW usually accurs when you hit a bump in the road, so nothing changed over night.

Take this with a grain of salt. I have been told that certain tires can actually "settle" overnight and that until the tires get warmed up they can be out of balance.

However, if this was the case the vibrations wouldn't suddenly come on at 45+ mph. You may notice the vibrations picking up all the way from a dead stop right up to speed.

Are you sure there were no vibes below 45 mph? If it does come on suddenly at 45 mph, then the previous poster's suggestion of retorqueing everything is what I would suggest, but if the vibes exist at all speeds, you may have tire issues?

I am guessing that bias-plys may have this problem, since radial tires are designed to be stiff.

Someone may call :bs: on this one, but like I said at the start, take it with a grain of salt.

First off A Big thanks to all !

OK quick sumary: installed lift fri / sat.
The front lift consisted of:
Rancho ft springs 3.5" lower control arms , adj trac bar, rs5000's
The rear lift consisted of:
rs5000's , build spring packs xj / yj springs approx 4.5"lift
Now I have ordered and I am witing for a set of Rustys 3.5" rear spring packs.
The tires / wheels:
Goodyear Wrangler a/t , Am racing Nitro polished

Drove it Sat Death Wobble at 45 ! Sunday AM got alignment and tires balanced. Left shop ran right up to 65 everything was ok. A slight shake at 53. Barely enough to wiggle the shifter / steering wheel. Gf drove home approx 80 miles Sat eve. No problems at all ran approx 50 or so the whole way.
She left for work this AM drove approx 5 miles at 50, no problem dropped kid off , headed to work at 45 Death Wobble. Drove remainder at 40 no problem. Left work tonight , ran up to 45 , ok 50 ok 55 ok . No issues what so ever!

WTF????? Is going on here? Help!!!!!!!!!
