Oil Pump pick up tube

A while back I picked up a summit racing oil pump w/ pick up tube.

Questions is what is the secret to installing the new pick up tube. Does this have to be machine pressed into the new oil pump?

I called summit but ofcourse they were NO help.

I will try these ideas and last resort take it to a shop and have it pressed on.
