I bought it from a friendly crack head back in my hookers and blow days, honestly any story you can make up is most likely plausible :)
 
The more and more I think about what I want out of vehicles, this vehicle will not become anything more than really what it is. It serves as a perfect DD: comfy, sporty, has all of the creature comforts I need, but most of all it is reliable.
I am going to sell these coilovers and continue to pay it off and enjoy it. I someday would like to downgrade to a single 12" sub and purchase a wingless trunk.
Once it is paid off I would like to sell my summer set of wheels and tires and find a set of 2004 STI wheels and get some good summer tires on them. I really dig the stockish DD perfection aspect and don’t want to ruin it.
I figure if I don’t try to modify it to the extreme point I ultimately want, it will serve me better. It will be more trouble free and reliable, less of a target (for Johny Law and punk kids that is), and should hold re-sell much better than a crazy beat/modified one.
 
If its tuned properly you should be fine there, although with higher boost and E85 you have to worry aboyut NOX readings being high. You can always take a junk CAT and split it in half, then hollow it out, and weld it back together around the "test" pipe so as to give the appearance of having a functioning CAT on the car.

Oh, and way better platform choice this time. I very much approve. Are you going to go for more of a Rally look or Road course look with it? Either way, me very much likey likey the little Subie.

my car doesnt have a fart can now.... but it has a shitty straight pipe that is way to raspy, I will probably get a muffler or put back the fart can if the straight pipe is to annoying.
 
Crossed a bunch of shit off my to do list in a car and scared my self way to many times.
Sold it to a rally racer on monday.

Made my new time from Laramie to home in 1hour and 35 minutes. Passed a cop doing 90+ over the opposite way on a dirt road. This drive for the past 6 weekends has been pretty nutty.

was a good car but I want (need) a cage for doing the dodging trees at 80-110 every other day. I will be picking up a dd (tj) hopefully this weekend.
 
It's not a big deal. It needs cave and I can't do that and have people in the back seats so I am okay witb it going away.

I found my jeep in an add on craigslist haha. To bad I don't want a wadded up piece of tin.

Tj got bought and is almost done being built for round one. I just need to get underneath and measure for a front drive shaft and get mine shortened then it should be time to go test it out!.
Bought it stock and now it is on 44s front and rear with 4:88s and detroits, cromo shafts in the rear. It has an atlas 4 speed, a tummy tucked belly pan from when I worked at Rokmen along with a 1" body lift on the tub. Otherwise it is near stock!.

Yep it is about 2" lower than when you saw it last because it had coil spacers when I bought it. Only change in suspension is a sway bar disconnect an a rear track bar.
