offroad parks

Does anyone know how many offroad parks and where they are in Wisconsin? I have tried doing searches but found nothing. I know of Dresser and McCaslin but no others. Are there more in Wisconsin or are we that far behind in forming offroad parks. Any info would be great.

If you don't mind driving a little farther you can check out Minnesota's state run off-road park:

Gilbert OHV Park

There are lots of pictures at the following sites:

North Shore Wheelers

MN-Jeep

Both sites have message boards with members from all over the place. They do some organized trail runs to places all over the Minnesota and Wisconsin areas.

There are NO State run Off-Road parks in WI.
There are many places to wheel and some are kept "secret" by a club because they don't want to see the type of trafic that would close their particular piece of trail. Often local clubs will know of lands in the area to have fun (often private land).
Apple Valley Farms, Pa Rockers, and Dresser are the closest we have in the way of "Off-Road parks"

Info on "Dresser" http://www.memorial4x4.org Not an Off-Road park per-se, but MN4WDA puts on a few events there each year.
McCaslin Mt. is not an off-road park, but a place folks go by Lakewood, WI. Most folks stay at this campground http://www.mccaslinmountain.com
Nearby McCaslin is the Pipeline trail in the Nicolet NF. 15mile trail.
As Steve mentioned, there is Ma and Pa Rockers Campground http://www.parocker.com
RPM4X4 puts on at least 2 public event each year. They are at http://www.rpm4x4.com
Don't forget to look into quiet drives though our National and County Forest roads. Any road in a State forest you can drive on is paved.
If you want to go wheeling often, I suggest you join a local club. Many to be found @ http://www.w4wda.org or http://www.mw4wda.org.

Development of an off-road park in WI is a highly debated subject. hasta
I've been in on a number of these discussions and ain't gona ^^^^^^^^^^

BTW: W4WDA is putting on their Anual SPRING FLING at Apple Valley Farms in New Auburn, WI May 6-8th. More info at http://www.clearwater4wheelers.org/springfling.html
