911 call for help folks!!
My son was in an accident in my best 89 Renix jeep, it was like new, everything worked great. I just heard he rolled it in the accident. My son is OK, so he says.
But if the jeep was rolled I my need to strip it for parts fast, in which case I will need all the help I can get. I have a spare perfect body at the shop, just needs an engine and AW4 and all the stuff under the hood swapped. Is anyone in the Houston area willing and able to help me out, to help me salvage what we can off the ol-girl?
I have AAA, but do not know if they will tow it from the impound for sure yet. It is at an HPD impound yard. Post up here and I will PM my phone to you if you can help or need parts off of it.

OK so you guys will meet up when xjintx drops in town, but will not meet up all year when the rest of us are always in town. So what am I, chop liver? LMAO.
I have a large stash of XJ oem parts, body parts and many other odds and ends from junked jeeps, if anyone needs anything, especially north of Houston towards Dallas. So now is the time to speak up with a need this or that list.
I am hoping it is before Dec 1st that he comes, (he is talking about next week), as I start seeing doctors Dec 1st if possible and get my MRI (MRI is Dec 2nd, already scheduled) as my insurance goes back in effect Dec 1st and need to get this gall bladder removed while I have insurance and before I have an attack that sends me into a coma. (I have heard horror stories about people that waited too long)

A stones throw from the College Street/ Airport Blvd Exit on I-45 South, just a bit south of the 610 loop south and the Gulfgate mall (SW side of Houston, near Pasadena in the city of South Houston). My shop is just around the corner on South Shaver, which would be a great place for folks to join us, and show off my toy shop and then grab some food. Tons of places to eat around here.
We could have a parts swap shop meet? Then food?
