Bwahahah!! Yeah, I've been preparing for my "departure" from the world, lol. In reality she's been really good and has seen what sacrifices I've made to ensure she gets what she wants. So if things work out as far as tax returns go, the Jeep gets priority for awhile.

Yeah, even though I won't be getting a return this year (VA screw-up somehow turned into my screw-up, now I'm paying for it), the fiance is still getting her's. Originally, the plan was to use it for the wedding, then our honeymoon, but we've already paid for all that just about. So I should be seeing a set of rims in the near future, just need to get our W-2s and get on it!

Just what YOU need.....another crap box with dreams. Save up for a bit and find something that is not needing so much work, you will be happier in the long run. I know it's easy to buy the first "deal" that comes around but..... Think how many you have bought and the money you have spent on all of them only to turn around and get rid of them. If you saved all that money you spend on them "bad deals", think of what you would have the money to get now. You gotta stop letting what cash you do have set aside for a new toy burn a hole in your pocket. Let it build to get something that runs good and is mechanically sound.

yea thats what i'm doing, i just like to stir the pot. lol money continues to burn a hole until something that tickles all my fancies pops up. that and wify in training is really good at her job.

Slow morning at work so far = surfing for parts. Seriously thinking gears and lockers are next after I do the sliders and bumper. So far really happy with my mini lift, can't wait to take it out to bridgeport.

Not too sure, if it has, it wasn't much. Still rides like a dream. As soon as I get my "allowance" I'll call around and see who can mount those mud rovers the cheapest. Then go grab some steel and start fabbing some bumpers and sliders. My dad is letting me borrow his welder to play with and get back up to par. Have a chop saw and grinder at my buddies garage, so should be able to make this happen. Already told the woman that I want lockers and gears for christmas, she just rolled her eyes, but I figure if I start leaving post its with a itemized list all over the furniture and cat, she'll get the idea, lol.

As for getting the tires mounted, I had Discount Tire mount my tires without balancing and then drove straight to Sam's Club to have them balanced. $30 at Discount Tire and $0 at Sam's Club (need membership).
