So I'm probably overanalyzing every little noise, but what does a bad unit bearing sound like? Seems like I've got a "rotational" noise on the front left, no wobble though.

It sounds like any other bearing going bad. Metal grinding on metal. Followed by the sound of your wallet opening to get a new one.

Also, from the last I've heard from the ATF, wait times are down to the 5 month mark, and e-filing is in the beta stages right now, so should be online here at the end of the year, which should decrease wait times.

Sorry, I haven't logged on in a while. The liberty essence. Dealer to deal transfers are running about 4 months, and approvals on form 4's are running about 6 months. Basically, you're looking at 8 months to a year before your new toy is in your hands.

so i think i'm going to build a solid axle subaru loyale. i have a buddy that is about to sell his lifted wagon, and im not a fan of how you actually lift those wagons. so TBI 4.3L, 700r4, not sure on Tcase yet, leafs front and rear, and locked toyota axles.
