Off-Road Trailers

I like the Izuzu or whatever it is in the background with scissor doors :laugh3:

Here is our Kamparoo trailer.

Here is my 52 M100 down in Baja.
Has the original lunette, parking brake, no tailgate and original data plates that indicate it was serviced at the Marine base in Albany, GA

All you need is the IV cable box in the front, the part that disappears on 93% of M100s!

I'm glad I have an M416, I'd feel guilty about using an M100 in rough conditions ;)

MJ bed on a CUSTOM BUILT FRAME.

Very Nice!

My MJ bed trailer is getting the tongue tomorrow... hopefully it'll be towable by dark...

So how is the spring over "raised" axle working ??

Curt

Good catch! Didn't even see that the first time. That's a good question and hope it gets answered. I had always wondered about doing this.

I dunno if I'd want the axle dropped like that with trailer brakes.

Leverage and all that.

Maybe if the spring perch was longer... like those cheesy "anti-wrap" perches you can get for axles. You'd need to make sure that axle wrap didn't create a stress raiser where the perch end impacts the leaf though. Maybe if the perch end was beyond the lower leaf. Don't know what that would do to up movement on the pack though.
