Off Day

Y'all ever just have those "off" days, well yesterday was mine. I couldnt figure out why the driverside rear door wouldnt unlock, I played with it before i went into class last night and then after class, after 15 minutes went by I figured out the child-safety lock was engauged, ....duh. Thought i'd share my humility with everyone here. -steve

Had the same kind of day. Tried to put in a new carrier in my rear end. Broke off two bolts in the ring gear before I figured out they are left hand thread. The big "L" on the head of the bolt escaped me.

Drove for almost an hour the other nite, could not figure out why my high beams didn't work, fiddled with the lever for a while, had all kinds of bad thoughts going thru my mind. Also noticed the low beams were not quite as bright as normal. Finally figured out that I had pushed the headlight switch in and only the parking and hella 450s'were on....duh..

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. About a year ago, our shop picked up a new fleet of Chevy 2500 vans. I get a call on the Nextel from one of the techs saying that he was locked in the back of the van. Well, I show up, and sure enough, the child safety locks were on, and he couldn't open the doors from the inside. We still get a pretty good chuckle out of it. (at least I do when I bust his balls about it)

Locked every door on my jeep last night...

Woke up to my hatch sitting open, glove box open.. and my leather jacket stolen along with a really nice pool cue... Both were gifts and won't be replaced due to budgetary constraints...

Fuck theives and fuck me for not being more careful..

ya know i have one of those days every day, like today i was almost late for work cause i coudn't get my xj to startwell key to turn until i got pissed enough through the keys then realized i was using the wrong key........duh.

I had a tool box and the temporary tag stolen off mine tonight. I haven't even gotten the Jeep running yet! aaaahhhhhhh
