What's a good inexpensive scanner for OBDI?

Ask a member that owns a DRBII or a DRBIII to help you? I think that would be the cheapest option as it would only cost you some beer.

You can usually find a snap on mt-2500 on craigslist for a couple hundred dollars. If it has the right cartridges you can do most makes/models obd1 and obd2. It will do a lot more than a code reader too.

Looked at te snap on but I can't afford 200+ for a scanner right now.

Do you hit downtown very often? I can bring my MT-2500 to work one day if you're just looking for a quick reading of your rig.

I don't have a CEL right now. I'm looking to buy one if an when I get a CEL....

Keep an eye on eBay then for either a DRB-II, III, or Snap on MT-2500.
