NP242 housing (big half) hairline crack in shift rod recess

I’m in the process of rebuilding my tcase and found the recess where the shift fork rod is held had a couple hairline cracks and is out of round. Has anyone run theirs like this? I’m having a hard time locating a replacement case half. I can attach a link to a picture if anyone is interested.

the aluminum housing will develop stress fractures but they don't usually go all the way through
