NP231J into dodge pickup

I've got my NP231J on craigslist (91 23 spline) and I got a call from a guy wanting it for his dodge pickup. He has a NP231D. I know there are some differences like the tail cone. Anthing else different?

I'm thinking his would have the wider chain and sprockets, the rest would be the same.

This. Might also have a 6 pinion planetary instead of a 3 pinion.

I don't think an NP231J would last very long where an NP231D used to be.
