NP231 Rebuild Questions

Wondering what the best way is to disconnect the t-case shifter linkage for removal. And any other rebuild tips would be appreciated.

Leverage between the linkage and the shift arm on the TC. Pry bar, big screwdriver. If you look, the end of the rod is just popped in there with a plastic surrounding. Some can be a real PITA, others come out easy.

thanks. got that. now i'm having trouble getting the top two nuts off at the trans/t-case flange.
