My front driveshaft yoke seal is leaking, it´s getting to the point I´m gonna have to deal with it soon (just added half a quart).
Question is I noticed the front seal is red (probably changed before) and I have a little up and down play in the front yoke. Actually less play than I have in the rear yoke, but the rear doesn´t leak.
Is the play in the front yoke, normal or should I be looking for a new set of front bearings for the intermediate shaft?
I have a dail gauge and can get a measurement of the play if necessary, just by feel, it feels a little loose, but not really sloppy.
If I have to split the case, to replace the front bearings, are there any other parts that should get some attention at the same time?
