I have decided to rebuild my old transfer case and add a SYE kit but it seems that the only kits out there are for the NP 231J. I have a 1988 XJ and the tag on the case has 231 AMC on it. The TC I installed last weekend has 231J on the tag. Does anyone make the fixed yoke kit for the AMC transfer case? I noticed the rear housing is different on these two cases along with other things.
