You may want to stay up to celebrate the event described below. It will only happen once in all eternity!

On Wednesday, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in
the morning, the time and date will be

01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever, ever, ever happen again in our lifetime.

[You may now return to your (normal ?) life.]

Although it is using an abreviation for the year...

Of course in Europe it will happen next month because they they show dates in the dd/mm/yy format, which actually is more logical because the places increase in magnitude that way.

how long until 12:34:56 on 78/910/11

i guess not until they figure out that there are 80 days in a month and 912 months in a year...

Now I'm kinda curious why it is the first and last time in eternity...

From what I can tell it has happened many times and will happen many more times.

Next time being 1:02.03 04/05/2106

I prefer yyyy/mm/dd. It sorts out better in the database.

i find it interesting that sniggs didn't reply to defend his "interesting fact".

but then why should he. he probably thought he was posting something "intelligent" that he saw on another website. i can't even count how many times i've seen "this interesting fact" post on other forums, and each one has it's own little version.

but while we're at it, here is a VERY interesting fact: Piggly wiggly has a sale on jacks pizza. 10 for $20............go and buy them now, cuz this will never every happen again for eternity. :D:
