I'm going out on yet another limb here:
I was amazed at the dryness when I moved to Colorado. Now I'm not afraid to use a little lotion after my morning shower. But for the past 2 winters I have gotten these KILLER sores inside my nostrils. Right now I've had one in the right nostril for about 3 days. It's so fawkin bad that it hurts to touch the outside of my nose.
I usually just tough it out and they go away in a week or so. I decided to research it a bit and I found out that I have what appears to be a bacterial infection that is supposed to be quite common in the fall and winter. I was amused when I read that it is caused by a bacteria that is found on the fingertips. :dunce: You know what means. That's right...Doctors recommend NOT putting your finger in your nose. Well what the hell am I supposed to do when I'm bored? Seriously...Missouri is good for one thing...humidity. Out here my nose is dry like the Sahara. I gotta clean house once in a while. You can't even blow these boulders out. You gotta use manual labor. So now I'm in a bit of a pickle. I need to go to the Doctor tomorrow and tell them to give me something to kill this beast. Maybe I'll try and get some finger condoms so I can use universal precautions when diggin'?
Damn dry air. That's all. AND I gotta go back to work tomorrow. Those 2 weeks FLEW by. Keep yer fingers outta your noses.
