PS Phil I expect you to be there. ;) As a married man you are going to need to learn how to get out of doing things like: honeymoons, yard work, her family get togethers, and craft shows. Make me proud ;)

I think I'm going to enjoy Astoria more. Damnit, I really wanted to be at the next meeting, too.

I think I'm going to start a thread with all my personal holidays and appointments so y'all can schedule meetings and wheeling trips on those days. :D

FWIW, I rather enjoy her family gatherings. Free booze and nobody's annoying or argumentative. Total opposite of my family. ;)

I find this to be the most humerous staement made as of late....

PHIL WARNING WARNING..... this is not going to occur. A week before I got married, all the guys I know in my profession congratulated me on the upcomming event.

When I got back from my HONEYMOON ( oh boy...) they were all laughing at me and telling me to hang on for the ride.

Good Luck...Try the Schwartz...you'll need it.

Like I said before, I'm only doing this because I want a new bed and cookware. I do the cooking so if she gets pissy with me she doesn't eat. ;) That said, we've been living together for three years and joke daily about married life. Prognosis is good. :) Finances are squared, living arrangements are squared, and we're not having a big wedding. Found a judge and we're getting married in a courtroom on a Saturday. Coincidence, Rabbi? ;)

They say the hardest part of marriage is living together. I see she has you trained well, cooking, so do you dust first or sweep, Phil? :laugh3:

Would the next Sunday work better for you guys? April 23??

Hans

PS I can't remember much of my bachalor party, just that I was drunk the whole next day after, and hung-over the day after that.

Haha... She didn't train me, I just spoil her. ;) Food Network and a passion for REAL scratch-cooking are what keep me going. I also like to see what's going into my food, lol. Always looking for something new. I slow charcoal-roast some mean poultry and waterfowl, buddy. :D It's all about fresh herbs and a good room-temperature brine soak for at least 24 hours.

Would work a hell of a lot better for me, obviously. :) Sheesh, come to think of it, I hope I don't annoy her too much by snapping numerous photos at Canon Beach. LOL

I have no friends, so I don't think there's going to be a bachelor party. :rattle:

If you want we can change it, if no one objects and you promise you will be there

Here's how it'll play. If she gets pissy and you DON'T cook. Ruths Chris steakhouse here she comes.

Prognosis is good, but it is SIMPLY a prognoisis. Nothing more, nothing less. ;)

Einstein had a prognosis about nuclear explosions. Sounded good at first, underestimated at best.

Finances will be desimated. Living arrangements will mean you'll be WEARING a fench maids outfit inside of two weeks. ( I will pay $50.00 for that picutre and the negatives.)

The Judge part hurts me....We Jews throw a hell of a marriage feast (i.e. party).

My blessings on a long life together Phil. Now bust out the SCHWARTZ...

Honest....I hope it all works out for the best. At least you didn't jump into anything at the tender age of 19. I sure didn't, and WOULDN'T recomend it.

I could hook it up. I'll bring along my sous chefs. :laugh3:

That'd be cool. I for sure want to be there. That was the only Sunday I was not available, so I'll be there. I want to meet some more folks and want to be involved in some planning.

If you are going to Cannon Beach, just get a room with the Jacuzzi tub. You also have to at least get a Partial view to keep the opposite sex completely happy. In October we stayed at the Surfsand Resort. I wanted a Jacuzzi room. Those rooms were reserved if they had a "full view" So I went for a partial view. Ask for a Partial room that has a view of the Haystack rocks. You will get anything you want after that.

Anyway, I won't be able to make this meeting. Sunday are unavailable until I get a schedule change or we have some trail runs.

So, has any thought been given to a time for this?

What time will make a big diffrence as to if I will ever get to a NAXJA NW meeting.... FWIW, I work in Interbay (just north of Seattle), and my shift ends at 7am, I hand around downtown to kill some time if it were a morning meeting?

Time/ Location are still undecided, wanted to see what would work best for everyone. I am coming from 2 hours north so not too early please. 8am at the earlyest, prefer 9am.
Hans

I'd be cool with something around 9 if thats what works. I'm pretty sure I can find something to do for a hour or so after work.

I found out what that was when I got the current job. Apparently there's a day the store is closed and we're not supposed to show up.

What a silly idea!

I plan to be there as long as Uncle Sugar lets me...

So do we all agree about Sunday April 24th at 9:00am.
Where should we meet???(central offroad) Phil you have your own key don't you. I don't know much about locations. We need an area with enough open seating.
