This is for the Midwest Chapter Director-at-large to full fill the end of Matt 'macgyvr' Rowland's term. Term runs from January 1st, 2014 until December 31st, 2014.
This is not something to take lightly and it is NOT intended to be a popularity contest. I encourage you all to know the people that you elect. I realize that's not always possible in all situations but vote wisely. There will be threads that are started by each candidate and then you will be free to ask questions then. All nominees must be :
: member for at least 1 year prior to taking office, be in good standing, and be nominated by another :: member in good standing. The candidate must be nominated, then it must be seconded by another member, then the candidate may accept or decline the nomination. Please verify with your nominees that they are interested in running for the office BEFORE you nominate them. Please use their birth given name as well as their screen name for the nomination process.
The nomination period will be for two weeks, with a one week election following the nomination period, per bylaws on special elections.
