good evening yall. I thought I would post up build pics so far of my xj. 88 d30d35, 231 blah blah. where it gets interesting is I had 35s left over from my wrangler, and decided to throw them on the xj. Now the first pics of this xj wer when I got it. I take no responsibility for the chop, just fixing it. I will be lifting it soon, but am clearing for 35's right now. seems like a fun little project for now.

haha awesome... why lift it? Make it fit, bumpstop it, keep it the way it is.

Buy a spare axle, throw it in the back, and make that 35 scream!

So, why did you post these pics? The title says, "no lft xj on 35s build."
But you say that you are going to lift it.
Did you just want to show people what an XJ looked liked with 35's at stock height?

im assuming he will be posting pics of the build very soon and this is supposed to get our attention

I wouldn't exactly say you're clearing those tires.

X2.

eff those d35 haters, wheel the piss out of it

Oh come on... he bolted the wheels on so he just proved you can do it!

Now when all the newbies ask how big of a tire can I "fit" with no lift, we can all say you can "fit" 35's with a little trimming. ;)

But I agree "fit" and "clearing" are two different things.
