I'm gonna hit NACfest while on vacation, it's gonna be my first actual organized run, and I've got lots of questions. It's not my first wheeling trip, but I wanna be as prepared as possible.
Space is at a premium for the trip w/the family to PA, and I'd like suggestions as to what to bring. Here's my tentative list, please let me know what you think I'll need.
Basic tools
M/S wrenches, sockets, pliers, vise grips, BFH, screwdrivers, etc.
(let me know if there is anything in specific I might need)
Recovery/Safety
Flag (Paragon required)
Tow strap w/ 2 shackles
come along
first aid/survival kit
Fire extinguisher
Gloves
Bottle Jack w/base
several ratchet straps
Spares/Misc
Full size spare
RTV/penetrating oil/antiseize/loctite
all fluids
u-joints (2)
nuts/bolts
Duct tape
I'm currently running the honeycomb aluminum rims. I have a set of steelies, would you recommend I switch over?
Is there anything else that I might need or want to take? I'm gonna be a long way from my garage.
Thanks in advance, and hope to see you there.
