Hello everyone newb in Charleston IL here thought I would intorduce myself. I just bought a 2 dr 96 xj

It has 9500lb ramsey on the front custom front and back, bumper 6.5 in rustys lift, wangler axles, arb front locker, spool rear locker, 33inch tires, frame renforcements, slip yoke eliminator, 4:10 gears, fornt dif armor and is my daily driver so if I break it I am screwed.

That is a GIANT stinger. Bumper looks good though. Is the rear axle from a Wrangler also? D35 then? Have fun with the spool if so :boom:
 
I hope the the rear end will last I believe the rear is 8.8 just wrangler in the front. If I have to I will replace the rear with another ARB locker since the front is ARB. when is the winterfest and where are they being held?
 
OK, you should be fine with an 8.8 rear.

Winterfest is Feb 29-Mar 2 2008 at the Badlands, Attica, IN. Check the Events forum just below this one for more info.
 
thats what the guy told me. LOL I havent had time to do my homework on it yet to make sure it is.
I will mark my calendar for winterfest and try to make it.

by the way thats a nice xj Reichy

yeah newton is just right down the road from you. this is how it looks now, it had black rims until Santa came. :D

I'm prepared to be flamed for not having black rims and no body damage.

even if you paid the asking price you got a solid jeep for a great deal!
 
I got it alot less than the asking price he realy just wanted to get rid of it he even delivered it to me. The paint job sucks and there is some body damage but not to bad. It runs real smooth.
 
Charlston and Newton, I just a bit down the road from both of you. I'm in Flora. Hope you guys can make Winterfest, it will be a good time fo sho. Always great to get new faces there.

If you can't make Winterfest, we'll likely have another Pig Gig this spring so watch for that. We have the Pig Gig in Louisville, IL.

i wont be at winterfest. my back cant handle much just driving on the highway is rough but not enough for me to give up the jeep still recovering from a spine fusion. I've been dealing with back problems for over 2.5 years and had 2 surgeries. maybe maybe next year it will be alright and i can make some events.

Hey, there's always the campfire! There is usually someone always at camp for the most part. Winterfest isn't all about the wheeling.
