Redbird is the site for the 2nd annual Four Wheels to Freedom Chili Cook-Off and trail ride. It will be on Friday Jan. 1st. 4WTF will be serving chili and grilled cheese sandwich's along with all the fixings and desserts.
It will be $5.00 for all you can eat chili. With your $5.00 you will recieve a ticket with which you will taste as many chili's as you wish and then place your ticket in the bucket of the one you think was best. Food will be served in the new maintenance building out of the elements. A big thanks goes out to the DNR for the use of the building and for opening the park on that day. Admission to the park will be as normal, so come out and vote for your favorite chili and celebrate the new year by riding the trails. 9am to 5pm

Are you wheeling that day Mike, I may ride along since my new beater won't quite be ready to go wheeling.

Kind of a quite showing this year but we had a blast. I think the 19 degree high temp kept alot of people in bed, The trails were great, but, got a little slick towards the late afternoon, which caused more vehicle damage than I have ever got on a 3 hr trail ride and we stayed off the real hard stuff.
Lets see the list goes as such:
Broken tailight assembly drivers side.
Broke the drivers side mirror off that I just bought from Illianaxj.
Caved in the drivers side front fender from the turn signal to the A pillar.
Busted rear glass out passenger side storage area.
Pushed up rear quarter panel about 3" passenger side.
And to top it off when I got home the jeep wouldn't start to drive it off the trailer because the starter was froze up.
All in all it was a great time, Cardboard
