New Tow Rig???

so the guy who was going to ship my junk home turned me on to this



99 burb with a 12v cummins and performance built trans. I dont have all the details yet but needles to say Im interested. its in Denver near my jeep
they guy wants 7k but pending details Im going to offer 6 and fly down there and tow my own stuff back therefore eliminating the 2k its going to cost me to have my stuff shipped. that plus the 700$ im getting for the blown burb. makes the "CumBurb" effectively 3K. which I think is a deal.

the motor has 150k on it and the trans has 5k.



















so... Talk me out of it??

Im going to have to try to get a loan cause Im broke after the trip. I can get alittle loan from my parents but the rest will be all up to me.

and PS I hate those wheels. I think im going to see if I can trade for the wheels and tires on the blown burb.

Make sure its a 12V block, and wasn't a hack job. Other than that, if all the gauges work, and the electrical is operational, sounds like a great deal to me (I built a 12V Chevy 3500 dually a few years back)

When you're buying a vehicle there's really only one question that needs be answered. That would be "what's it's top speed?" If they answer 200+mph you're solid. What you need need to be careful for is if they're like "it'll do 200 easy.." You gotta be like 200 WHAT!? If they say Kilometers per hour I would spit in their face right then and there.
