New tow rig - maybe some trails too

Well got rid of my 1/2 ton dodge and got this:

Thought not a diesel, but figured getting a new power wagon couldn't be a bad choice either. Its an 07, but I got it as a new vehicle so it has the lifetime PT warranty - fully load minus navigation...... Should pull my XJ and trailer pretty good - though I am not expecting to get great gas mileage - lol.

You suck. I was comtemplating one of those the other day. Can't get any worse mileage than my Expedition (9 city/15 hwy).

yeah - I was deciding between this and a new diesel, but heard a few bad stories on the 6.7, and getting this I got the lifetime PT warranty. Though it sucks cause that means no lift kit....... I just did an 800 mile trip - per the computer on the highway it averaged 13.8 and speeds fluctuated from 50mph to 85. City wise I am a little throttle happy hearing the sound of the duals........ I was hoping to get some better action shots when I went to the UP, but the snow was a little deep still - and the stickin snowbanks kinda crumbled under the weight of the truck.

13.8 highway! Geez, the 4.56 gears kill ya don't they. You'll love em with a trailer in tow though, I wish my 3.73s were deeper from a standstill.

yeah the 4.56s are killer on the highway, though rpms not that high (around 2200 @ 65 or so). Does have some get up and go at least. Course I guess I didn't buy it for fuel economy so I can't complain. The only other downfall are the seats - not very comfortable after 3-4hrs of sitting in them (have heard some others complain about this too)
