Re: new-to-me creppy crawlers :)

yeah when they're stuffed they do rub. i'm just going to bumpstop accordingly and it will be fine. reallllly got to finish the front 44 now haha.

And that steering and that Dana44. :D

I've been really happy with mine but they're a terrable steet tire in my opinion.

Re: new-to-me creppy crawlers :)

yeah. i'm working on it all hah. 44's front and rear with alloys will hold up well enough for long enough. the long run includes 60s f/r anyhow, so they don't have to be totally bullet proof ;)

I was thinking those were 37s but maybe I'm wrong?

As far as the tires themselves, they're bias ply and I'm used to radials on the street. Mine are seriously vibey and noisey and they roll over in the corners, just a all around lousy tire for the street.
This is coming from someone who ran Goodyear MT/R radials for over 100,000 miles though so your opinion(tollerance) may vary compared to mine. ;)
I love those tires for rock crawling though. I cut probably close to 20 MT/Rs over that 100,000 miles but haven't even scratched a Creepy Crawler since I switched and I don't even carry a spare tire anymore.

Re: new-to-me creppy crawlers :)

that looks awesome dude.

Why do it twice.

because i got the front 44 half built, and being one of those college kids i have a very low income for jeep stuff. when i do get 60s, if i do, they will be narrowed because i want this thing to still get a sticker, so $$$$ right there. we'll see. i know i'll really enjoy it with the 44s and 37s, and i know i'm lying when i say this, but i might just stop with it there. thats what i said at 33s too though, so who am i kidding ;)
