Hello,
New member from Bellflower Ca. looking for a group who likes to Camp and do some wheeling. We are a long time Jeep family with 2013 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk HEMI, 1998 Cherokee 4.0 and a 1974 Wagoneer. I have been gathering parts for the Cherokee for the last 2 years to make it a fun wheeler and it should be ready in the next 2 months. So far I have, a 8.8" 4:56 w/TrueTrac for the rear, a Currie 9" 4:56 w/Detroit Locker for the front, RE 5.5" long arm kit, SYE, woods shaft, DirtBound Front Winch Bumper, Full set of Hulligan tube fenders, custom made stainless roof rack my buddy and I made and looking for a rear bumper/tire carrier and rock sliders. Not sure on tires size yet 33's or 35's. Looking forward to having a great wheeling time.

Welcome!

Sounds like a solid list of build parts. As far as tires, I would say 35's, but seeing as you already have 4.56 gears in the axles, might be best to stick to 33's.

I drove my XJ on 35's and 4.56 for a little over a year. Similar to stock gears and 31's. It is do able, but not the best performance, especially once you start adding armour (weight) to the Jeep. I finally went to 4.88's last fall and it runs much better around town and on the freeway.
