Hello,
New member from Bellflower California. Long time Jeep guy looking for a group to do some camping and some wheeling with. We have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, 1998 Cherokee and a 1974 Wagoneer. I have been picking up parts for the last 2 years for the Cherokee build and it should be ready in the next 2 months. As it sits now it is a mostly stock Cherokee but will soon be built up for some off-road action. I have a set up 8.8 with 4:56 gears and a TrueTrac for the rear, a Currie ford 9" front end with 4:56 gears and a Detroit locker, Rubicon 5.5" Extreme Long Arm kit, DirtBound Offroad front winch bumper, Full set of Hulligan offroad tube fenders and looking into a rear bumper tire carrier & rock sliders. I have a custom stainless roof rack my buddy and I built. Looking to run 33's or 35's but have not decided yet.

Looking forward to some great wheeling!

Sorry,
Ours is not the new 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk but the only year they made a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 2013. My wife and I love it, she drives it mostly but that is how I am able to spend all the cash on great parts for my 98 Cherokee build. We use the Grand Cherokee as our TV when we go camping.

Thanks,
Keith

Show us your rig!

My Cherokee is in stock form right now and I hope to start the project by the end of the month. Still waiting on my tube fenders & front bumper.

If I get it ready and have a few short trips on it by June, I would love to hit Moab.

I am hoping my buddies and I can get it completed in a month working only weekends.

I will post pics as we take off the old and install the new.

Hey,
Just wanted to let you all know that my other Hobby just placed in a major competition.
I entered 4 beers to the National Homebrew Competition and 3 out of 4 went on to a mini Best of Show. My Barleywine placed 1st for our region, S. Cal, Nev & Arizona. The others scored well but will not go on to the Finals.
Just wanted to let you know I can brew really good beer and I have everything that is needed to serve it in the back woods. My wife and I are members with PopUpPortal because we have a pop up tent trailer. This forum is popular in the Midwest eastcoast but we started the first Rally in California and have done this for the last 2 years. Our potluck dish is always beer.
