New JcrOffroad Shop cherokee *pics*

Well, we have been looking for a while to get a newer bodystyle XJ to make into a nice and clean JcrOffroad shop cherokee. We went out to chicago on tuesday and pick this up:

It's a 99' 4.0L, auto.

We will be using this to haul our enclosed trailer down to winterfest, so we will be building it all up in the next few weeks.

I will post more pics of it as we add stuff to it. Hopeing to get some Rubi's wheels and tires soon for it.

We might be going to Illinois again soon, I will pm you ahead of time. Maybe we can meet for dinner.

Plans are as of right now:

Prerunner front bumper
Tire carrier rear bumper
stage 1 sliders
roof rack
Rubi tires and wheels
2.5" lift

We mostly are tired of driving our 3/4 ton trucks around town to run errands, so we figured it would be a nice way to show off our work locally and be able to use it for getting supplies. Probably won't wheel it much, it's going to be a poser jeep for a while :shhh:

I could have swarn you guys hauled the trailer to Winterfest last year with a blue XJ. What happened to that? Anyway sounds like a plan on the 99. You going with 30's, and are you planning on a regear, or leaving the 3.55's?

It was a 2 door White XJ, and it was sold this last summer.

We have not decided what to do with gearing just yet. Depends on how far we go with this one. Right now, it is mostly going to be a poser errand running XJ.
