New HiLift Location on the XJ

I know you post is all in good fun, but I'm curious to know where you got that fact. Having lived in both Colorado and Arizona, I can honestly say that there is a hell of a lot more 4 wheeling in AZ. That's not to say there isn't a lot in Colorado.quote]

Now that you ask I do not remember where I read it. It was in one of my rags that I get monthly. Colorado was number one with California/Washington a close second! Arizona was on the list but it was around ten or eleven I think. Hell, I wish Colorado was not so damn popular as it would cut down on all the idiots on the road!! There is a lot of 4wheeling in AZ but I really doubt it is wheeled more than CO!!

I have never been fond of the East Coast......... Just me!! Someone has to live over there! I would not say it sucks because it doesn't, I have been out that way. :peace:

Hmm, wish you could remember the magazine. Sorry to take this off topic, but have you spent any time in Arizona? Sounds like a debate for the chapter forums I guess. My experiences in both states are recent, so I'm not pulling this out of my arse.

Great trail shots and jeep but I think you should relocate that jack in outlander(un-called-for).I've had my hi-lift 17 years and think the bumper, not equipment, should stick out for impacts.

This if it becomes a debate, I forsee hard/hurt feelings!! We are all partial to the places we live, me included! I would not trade one Colorado for ten of any other state!! To awnser your question, Yes, I have been down to AZ. Beautiful state and some awesome wheeling!! I have also lived in Bremerton and must say Washington is beautiful, good wheelin there too!

all this hoopla over a hi-lift jack mounting position!?

I have seen some ghettttooooo things on the modified tech board that look dangerous and downright retarded! This is not one of those things, its just preference!

Achmed.... it looks good man. I had mine on my roof of my old XJ a while back and did not maintain it so it got a little rusty and stuff.... I had to tear it down clean and grease everything back up... I now keep it inside just so I dont need to maintain it.

Nah, you just have to pack smarter.

Actually, we need more than a 100 piece socket set and a lunchbox where we wheel.

Personally I too think your a bit of a prick, you think your the coolest most extreme thing in the Southeast. But let's face it, that part of the country sucks.;)

I've been called worse. Unfortunately if brains were fuel, you wouldnt have enough to race an ants gokart around the inside of a donut. Now I know why your west coast buddy thinks he can conquer The Wall ina stock mod TJ. You are ignorant my friend. :)
