Well this is my second XJ that I have owned. I bought her built and plan on picking her up this weekend. Don't worry I have built form the ground up 1-XJ, 1-YJ and 1-TJ. I am tired of having projects and decided that this time I would just get everything I wanted in one shot.

SPECS:
Vortec V6
60 HP Front
14 Corp Rear
5:13's
ARB/Spool combo
Interior and EXO

Just to name a few

That.... is a beautiful XJ

I dig the XJ, and the 4.3 Vortec is a great motor. I take it this used to be a 2.8 V6 powered rig?

Great choice on rear axle too, heavy as shit but you'll probably grenade your transmission or snap the crankshaft before it ever goes out.

I don't guite understant the need for a full internal cage when it has an exo cage though? Still, a sweet rig for sure.

I actually bought this rig complete - I was tired of having projects and I need to get out and go wheeling. So I am not sure what the org motor was. The tranny is a 4L60E so I don't think I will have a problem there. The 231 will be going once I can afford the Atlas. Internal Doubles as an air tank, but yes maybe a little overkill. I plan on revamping some things.

I'd been watching that rig for sale on CO4x4..... He started out asking $13K and last I saw was below $9K..... hope you got a good deal! Looks like it's got tons of work into it and lots of solid hardware.

I had a 4.3 in my first XJ and I loved that swap! I'd rather have it than the 4.0 as far as the pre- '91 rigs go. It's a great step up from the Renix or the 2.8.

Nice!!:us:

Where? What trail? How long will it take? I need to get back to Junction by mid-afternoon.

Sounds like I am going to be to busy this trip to do any wheeling, but maybe next time.

Well picked her up today - GYHUGE-IC - Get her home - do a couple tweeks, figure out all the switches and a couple other things and she is good to go. I will get to see her perform next Sunday at Billings, cannot wait.

My family has had a ranch just east of you for 80 years, about 30 miles south of Fort Benton.
