New help with wiring trailer lights. (Picture Diagram)

Okay. So all the wires not the trailer were damaged from being like 90 years old. Not really that old, but they are all trashed.
The wiring that I got from a RV shop is what I need per the employee there. I have the 'four flat' on the jeep so I bought the female version for the trailer end.

Im wondering if someone can explain to me how these wire are going to be connected to the lights. There are a total of six lights on the rear and only four wires.

There is
Green
Yellow
Brown
Whire.
Yellow is left signal
Green is right signal
Brown is running lights
and the Whire is ground.
Please let me know how these are supposed to be hooked up.
The outermost lights have 2 wires each coming off of them as seen in the diagram.
The 2nd outermost lights also have 2 wires coming off of them.
the innermost lights only have 1
Please help me out with this. I think that im going to need more wiring. Also I dont understand how the turn signal wire is supposed to be hooked up to these lights and where the ground goes on the lights. Its annoying.
Do I hook up a running light wire and a right turn signal wire to ONE of the wires on the right side and the other wire is for a negative cable? Or do I hoook up a running light wire to one and a turn signal wire to the other? what about the ground wire? See im confused. It seems to me that there needs to be three wires coming off of the lights that are going to be used as running lights, breaking lights and turn signals. Does that make sense? Thanks for the help in advance!

Okay, your wiring harness should be wired as follows. (using industry standard wire coloring)

White = Ground (odd, yes!)
Green = Right turn signal and stop lamp.
Yellow = Left turn signal and stop lamp.
Brown = Tail Lamps (parking lamps / running lamps)
Blue = Trailer Brakes

Here is a simple wiring diagram I just made.

The green and yellow stop/turn wires go to the brighter filliment of your stop/turn/tail bulbs.

I only have 2 wires coming off out the outermost and 2nd innermost lights. Do I splice together the running / tail light and turn signal light wire and hook the ground wire to the other wire coming off of the bulbs?

If you only have two wires coming out of the turn signal housing they're either JUST STOP AND TURN (no tail lamp) or they are grounded through the housing. Two questions.

One - is there a metal frame? If so it could be grounded through the frame. Second - do the lamps in those sockets have two filiments? If so hook it up like the diagram shows but connect the ground wire to the frame or light socket housing (metal part).

You cant wire a trailer wiring system "directly" to the Jeep harness.It requires a converter box!

Yes its a metal frame and now that you say that it must be grounded though the frame.

Yes they have two filiments.

Thank you for the help. I got it to work finally. Everything is A-okay.

Thanks again!
