New guy here!

Hi all! New to . I'm purchasing an XJ next Week. It will be the second XJ that I have owned. My first was a 89, 5spd, 231, 4.0, 4"s, with 33x10.5 Super Swampers, 4.10s. Like a dummy I sold it. So now I'm purchasing a 1990 2dr 4.0 Auto. Don't know when the wife will let me start playing with it. She thinkgs I should only play with my CJ, but I have other ideas and plans. I would love to see this XJ on 34s or 35s. With that said, does anyone wanna help me get started, I'm looking for lift shackles, or a whole budget boost. Nothing severe yet, just something I can slide by her.

Next Saturday there will be a trail ride near Woonsocket, RI, ending with dinner at Wright's Farm. The trail will be a power line run. Some difficult stuff (not really "killer," but fun) but IIRC all obstacles have go-arounds.

If nothing else, come meet up with us before-hand and if you don't like the trail meet us again at Wright's afterwards.

We're meeting at the Stop & Shop in Woonsocket/North Smithtown (Route 146A) at 10:00 a.m. (I think -- check other post, might be 9:00 a.m.).

We can help you fine tune your XJ. We have members ranging from all stock (me) to well-modified (many).
