I'll update in the future when I get the lights and shackles on.

Im new to this a d i am looking to get a winch bumper those bolts use the old bumper mounting holes and stuff and the tie in do they just go all the way through the frame and then nuted on sorry for the dumb question thankz drew

looks great, yes they use some of the factory holes and a few that are already there, you normally just provide the bolt and nut. they go thru the "frame" unibody and bolt it

mike u little bitch, build ur own bumper!!!!! hahah its pretty pimpin im not gunna lie. u gotta come wheelin with us next time we go out

Actually it doesn't affect it.

The passenger side headlight bezel was off when I installed my bumper. The bezel slipped right in and bolted up even with the bar being that close.

Build my own bumper? In my dorm? With the metal and fabricating tools I don't have? You crazy.

very clean lookin bumper and and great price too!

.

The holes don't line up on the tie-ins. I had the same issue with my plates a year ago. They make a good product though, looks good.

That bumper looks great! And the price is great. And Im thinkin about picking one up.

I have one concern... Those d-rings mounts look like they are surface mounted to the front of the bumper. Can you confirm that?

I know they will PROBABLY be strong enough...but I have my reasons for not liking it.

Still looks great tho!

They are only welded to the face of the box. Since they are as tall as the box tube they use the whole structure of the tubing. IE to bend sideways they would have to tear the top and bottom faces of the box tube, or the welds.

We have not had one failure of a D-ring tab in nearing 1,000 bumpers on the market now. That is counting early models that only had a 3" tall tab.

We redesigned the tie-ins this year. Both to make them stronger, and resolve some fitment issues we were having. :guitar:
I can verify this, I had some of the first V.2 tie in plates.
They fit perfectly.
I had a tougher time of getting the steering box back into place than anything else with my bumper install.
