...no joke.

First two images are just thumbnails ofthe same, gotta be logged inot their forum to see it.

I demand full specs or I'll take away your Captain.

i came

Only specs they gave were stroker and huge rear travel...
Looks like a two wheel drive beam axle with full hydro steering to me.

edit: here's the quote from the other board...

This XJ has big potential. 6" stretch, linked rear end with coil over BIG travel, hydraulic steering, 4.7 stroker with alloy head. We think Jeepspeed Cup Class 3700 should take off in 2010. This car illustrates how we imagined XJs and TJs developing from 1700 cars.

WOW. Looks like you will have some competition next year Dan. haha

If....I intended on racing my junk... It could be tempting, but I think this race car show what the difference is between a pretty cool prerunner, and a full blown racer. I'd probably get stuck racing in the 4700 outlaw class anyway, with the RE Trophy JK and the Bob's Big Boy Ramcharger.

Dan, why would you get bumped to 4700? Is your rigs cage tagged to race? If so, I say do it!!!

No, my cage isn't tagged, and I doubt it would pass Bill Savage's tech. It's all 1 1/2" tube, which I believe I've far exceeded the weight limits on that. I'm comfortable with the design, though...I think it has plenty of tubes and decent triangulation, and all that, but it was originally designed as a chassis stiffening rock crawler cage. If I built it as a racer...lots of things would be different.

I was saying 4700 because next season, there's supposed to be a few more guys racing in 3700 who have built their cars to the rules...Ford motor doesn't really fit well there...but, if the entry numbers are still down...who knows.
