New 3 Link Long Arm Crossmember

Say I know this guy with an XJ on 33's and roughly 5" of lift. Would this work on such a setup?

Definitely. This kit will accomodate from 4 - 8 inches of lift. Just need to know how high you are so I can change the length of the links for proper axle placement. The crossmember has a 1-1/4" drop as well to help with driveline angles.

With your standard rod ends that would be installed with you base model kit, how much adjustability would you say each link has before you would have to have a different length link made?

You should be able to go about 2 inches up or down. You would have to let me know exactly what you were looking to do. When I figure link lengths I measure the furthest back you would want the axle in the fender well and make the links as long as possible to accomadate the lift. This is so when adjusting out you arent exposing too much rod end and causing a week point.

I'll leave this up, since I do understand the need for exposure.

However, if you're going to plan on selling stuff directly, we do ask that you purchase a Vendor membership (which can also give you access to Vendor fori.)

Either that, or take product development and sales discussions backchannel.

Sorry to be a pain - but I got popped for this myself as well, so I figured I could be the most civil about it (since I understand "how the other side thinks" on issues like this - having been there myself!)

I do wish you well, and I hope it all works out for you! I am pleased to see an individual going into an area that has been taken over by corporations - because most corporations have their major decision made by accountants, not designers or engineers. Most people don't have the good sense to rein in their accountants, and I really do wish they did...

Good luck!
