Need to find some CHEAP used tires... failed inspection in Raleigh, NC

Hi All!

Hope everyone is doing well so i finally took my XJ in for it's safety inspection. Everything passed with flying colors (even the giant crack in the windshield), EXCEPT for my two front tires that were bald on the edges due to my need of alignment.

That being said, Anyone know of a good place to get some cheap used tires in the Raleigh area by any chance?

I'm half tempted to snag two wheels off my buddies 01' XJ just to get it to pass then putting my bald ones back on...

I actually just happened to stumble across them last night while searching. I just got off the phone with them and they are OUT. so i guess with times tight everyone is looking for used!

If i can find some, any idea of a good cheap place to get them mounted? Cheers!

just need two... i found a place in Garner actually (kats kars) said they had some and would mount up 2 for me for $30 each. im going to drive out there and see if that will work out for me.

I have a set of two 235/75 with decent tread, mounted on 5x4.5" cheap white spoke wheels (currently painted charcoal)

You are welcome to borrow them while you need them, and I could meet you somewhere midway, like US 1 south @ Deep River Road or @ 15/501 exit?

I think I am available most of today (12-19) and afternoons Mon 20th to Wed 23rd
