Sounds good quick question any difference between 1997 cams and 2000 my jeep that it's goin in is a 2000 but lunati advertises years 1964-1997 I have the coil pack distributorless ignition I didn't know of any physical differences between cams. Just didn't know if I'd have any issues with throwing this cam in. Thanks alot! If all works out hopefully be purchasing this cam in the coming 3 weeks and let everyone know results

In 99, Jeep changed to a thrust plate mount for the cam. You need the earlier bolt, pin, and spring as well as a compatible timing set. . .

You need a compatible timing set. . .

If you have an aftermarket cam, you can use any aftermarket timing set and any '98 and earlier OEM timing set. The crankshaft sprocket and chain from the '99+ OEM timing set will also work but you'd need a '94-'98 camshaft sprocket to complete it.

Thanks alot Guys really apriciate it I think I'm gonna order a double roller timing set. And then just gotta find the thrust parts should be pretty easy.

This question is probably gonna be Beating a dead horse but. With the lunati cam that I've decoded to go with your help. What valve springs should I run?

Gracias I have also read about breaking in with stock springs and then change to mp springs after. Will the mp springs work with my valves? I know hesco mentions something about havingto switch to older valves for theirs
