Need help changing draglink balljoint

Hey folks I need some help on how to change the ball joint on the end of the
draglink. My threads are all in bad shape along with the grease boot is torn.
Any advise? Is there is a perticular part number.

scott, do you mean the knuckle end of the draglink or the pitman arm end? If it's the knuckle end, you'll have to replace almost the entire link, as it's one piece (from the knuckle to the adjusting sleeve), and the end is not serviceable.

the Moog/TRW part number is DS1238, runs about $120 at Kragen/Auto Zone. McQuay/Norris (Perfect Circle) is about $75, same part number. looking at Kragen/AZs websites, it looks to be a special order item.
