Im going from 3.55 to 4.56 gears and now need a bigger carrier I was told for the larger ring gear, let me know what u got, thanks! Also does anybody know if I need to get a bigger carrier for the 8.25? I was told it will work with my current carrier but need advise.

i'm not positive but I think you do need a new carrier for the 8.25, I believe it's the d44 that will go bigger without a new carrier.
I got my front d30 carrier from Rob @ www.RWKHausSupply.com quick and cheap, and brand new.

I just did my gearing with a stock carrier for my 8.25x29... First hand gearset.. You do need one for the D30 or thicker gears if they are made (not sure)..

Oh and most shops have this carrier for ~$50..
