Need advice / help on custom floor

I am building a bit of a storage system and plywood flooring for my XJ.

I have removed the rear seats in my 2dr for the storage area. The plywood there will be hinged for access the rest of the back will just have a pieces of plywood with some tie downs bolted through the floor.

My question is... I want to cover it all with something like the material Audio builders use to cover speaker boxes. That grey / black material that is applied with contact glue.

Does anyone know where I can get it in bulk?
Does anyone have experience or have any tips or advice?

It's a heavy cloth. Check the fabric stores. Ask for mottled cabinet cloth. There are several places in the UK that you can order it from that I know of. Google it....maybe you can find someplace local.

They have Material like that at Home Depot, one sec and I'll get the name of it for ya.

Just go to the Depot and look for Indoor/Out door Carpet Material. you can use Henry outdoor carpet adhesive. Comes in a 1 quart plastic container, apply it with a finger trowel

A few guys use it as a headliner on here,
